Detox Herbs - Detoxification Herbs

Alfalfa provides natural chlorophyll helping to sweeten the breath and freshen body odors. It is also excellent source of fiber and is a natural laxative.

Black walnut hull helps the body eliminate parasites and as itcontains antifungal agent.

Cascara sagrada bark stimulates secretions of the gall bladder, liver,  pancreas and stomach due to its bitter anthraquinone content. It is appreciated for its quick-acting laxative effects.


Capsicum is rich in vitamin C and it acts as an antioxidant, antiseptic and circulatory stimulant. It also helps improve metabolism therefore contributing to weight loss.

Gentian root is an antiseptic agen, and cholagogue. It is very bitter and works as a great digestive secretions. It also helps in the breakdown of fats and protein. It also helps improve the assimilation of nutrients like vitamin B12 and iron. 

Hibiscus flower has soothing properties and is mildly antibacterial. It is also mildly antiparasitic and diuretic.

Mullein leaf is a diuretic, demulcent, and a vulnerary. It is beneficial for the respiratory system and it also soothes irritated tissues and .

Oatstraw is highly rejuvenative, nutritive,  and calming to the nervous system. It helps in exhaustion, depression and provides minerals to nourish bones, nails, hair and skin.

Yucca root is effective as laxative agent and an alterative. It helps break down organic waste in the body. One of its main uses in alternative medicine is to relieve the inflammation caused by arthritis.
